New student apartment complex in the Cranbrook Educational Community.

Concept of Design.

​

The 5 story building proposal provides private spaces and public areas between the actual campus, existing buildings and the new project, acting as a response to the lack of interaction of students in the existing spaces between these buildings. It also offers a large green open space at the ground level and a series of green horizontal connections between the apartments, that act as a catalyst for communal social living. With the presence of a cafeteria and dining area in the first floor of the building, the apartments are distributed in the second, third and fourth floor having also recreational areas in the last floor.
