Master degree in process of licensure - NCAARB licensure board and pursuing a second license in Latin America, with professional experience as a graduate architect and design assistant in the architecture field, in the performance of commercial, hospitality and residence projects  in USA and Lima - Peru. Work experience in architecture studios in the area of  digital design, interior architecture , digital visualization, as well as  teaching and research experience in the digital fabrication institute at Ball State University. Certificate in digital design and digital fabrication with interest in developing  critical design methods  and emerging digital technologies in the collaborative practice of architecture.

Background

 

I am passionate about architecture, design and art. I believe architecture is one of the most enjoyable careers and one of the disciplines with an essential role for the future of our cities, what gives us a essential commission as leaders nowadays.

Before studying architecture I got involved in the world of arts and design since I was younger, studying in the National Art Museum in Lima, Peru and then in a recognized visual art studio. That gave me the interest in arts, so I started to do art works in my free time and to participate in competitions and art painting exhibits, which is part of my design background.

While doing my studies in architecture, I participated each year in the annual project exhibitions from the Ricardo Palma University gallery, where I had the opportunity with nominated students to present selected works and projects after each academic year. Having my bachelors degree in  Architecture and Urbanism from Ricardo Palma University ,one of the most transcendental  and  influential architecture schools  in Lima, Peru and doing an outstanding work during the last period of my career, I graduated in the upper third and was awarded in an outstanding participation in an architectural international network, being invited to do a masters degree in architecture at Ball State University - Indiana USA. After working more than two years in Lima Peru in the architecture field I decided to start my masters degree.

Recently  I graduated from  the master program in architecture at Ball State University, where I also  got a graduate certificate in digital design and fabrication, which program has been ranked among the top three in the country in the area of digital design and fabrication during the last years. As part of my professional and educational background I also have a academic experience in digital architecture and construction project management studies from the PMI international and I have been an assistant for the graduate school in the digital fabrication  laboratory from the architecture school at Ball State University – Indiana, USA.
