Peruvian architecture has an incredible architectural background. One can find brilliant solutions of how to deal with nature in every intervention done by Incas and Pre Columbian Peruvians at where their Empire used to be.

During the studio students make their proyects based on Peruvian architecture , they identify the
characteristics and qualities of the Inca architecture , and use them in their exercises .

 

Functionality ( use of inca space organization ,private spaces,public spaces used in their ceremonies,semi public, and transitions spaces)

 

Architectural Space( work on full space and empty space ,exterior and interior relationship)

 

Form System (inca form system )

 

Light and Shadow ( concept of light effects which incas used to invite their God ( Suni to their intimate spaces )
