In this class we worked on the environment, human beings, and thermal design criteria, learning about efficiency, sustainability, eco - buildings, good achitecture in search of energy savings and non- contamination methods of design.
Concepts and principles :
Generation and propagation of environmental phenomena ( heat ,light, sound).
Weather and thermal comfort view.
Apparent motion of the sun.
Solar projections; identification and applications (umbrellas, shades greenhouses, etc ).
Definition, factors and calculation of people in thermal comfort.
Heat transmission capacity of materials.
Thermal conditioning of buildings
Calculation for determining thermal equilibrium
Simplified calculations of thermal equilibrium.
